Donor Advised Funds

Donor Advised Funds allow you to make recommendations for grants from your fund. Since the Foundation administers your fund, you are assured of its permanence well beyond your own ability to advise.

Donor Designated Funds

Donor Designated funds are funds whereby the donor selects a recipient organization or a specific purpose for which a fund is created to perpetually benefit one, or more, specific charities or organization.

Field of Interest Funds

Field of Interest funds are funds whereby a donor designates a special area of interest (e.g.: arts, education, health, etc.) in which grants may be made from the fund.

Organizational Endowments

This type of fund is established when a non-profit organization agrees to transfer all, or part, of its endowment to a designated fund within The Foundation.

Scholarships

Many donors find the creation of a scholarship fund within a community foundation the simplest and most cost effective alternative to a private fund.
