Non-Endowment Funds provide funds for general granting purposes. Our Non-Endowment Funds are comprised of annual contributions and the earnings on those contributions.

Contributions made to the Non-Endowment Funds are pooled together with long-term assets and invested.  Non-Endowment Funds are used to provide on-going support for many, many different organizations and activities.  Your contributions into the general Non-Endowment Fund are invested back into the community, allowing the residents of Scranton & Lackawanna County to benefit from the generosity of donors like you.

Scranton Area Foundation provides grants from our Non-Endowment Funds to organizations like [insert a few examples here] for such purposes as [insert a few examples here].
