Donor-Advised Funds

Since the Foundation administers your fund, you are assured of its permanence well beyond your own ability to advise. While legal control of the fund rests with The Foundation, donor’s can be assured their advice is taken seriously. Investments, paperwork, and grant monitoring are all handled by The Foundation. If requested, complete donor anonymity will be assured and maintained. These funds are often an attractive alternative to the creation of a private foundation. Investments, paperwork, and grant monitoring are all handled by the Foundation.  Donors receive a maximum available tax deduction for the original, and any subsequent, gifts. In subsequent years, they may suggest deserving charities to benefit from fund income or, if desired, principal. Grants are then made, in the name of the fund, to favored charities. Upon the death of the donors and any successor advisors, the disposition of the fund will be at the discretion of the Foundation.
