The Scranton Area Foundation is a
public charitable organization dedicated to assisting donors to enrich the lives of all
people in Lackawanna County through organized philanthropy. Each donor's gift -
whether small or large - serves to build the productive capabilities of the Foundation,
allowing it to respond to the community's emerging and changing needs. By providing
monies generated from well-managed permanent endowment funds, the Foundation is able to
ensure the health and vitality of our area for generations to come.
