The Center for Community Leadership and Nonprofit Excellence is now accepting applications for two capacity building and training programs in October:

Utilization-Focused Evaluation
Friday, October 5th
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
At the Hilton, Scranton

AND

Talent Management and Human Resources for Nonprofit Managers
Wednesday, October 10th
8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
At the Scranton Cultural Center
(420 N Washington Ave, Scranton)

The Utilization-Focused Evaluation workshop, provided by Michael Q. Patton, will illustrate how utilization-focused evaluation, based on the Mountain of Accountability, can be done in practice and adapted to real-life context. This course covers basic management accountability, program evaluation, accountability for learning, strategic adaptation, and mission fulfillment.

The Talent Management and Human Resources for Nonprofit Managers seminar, provided by Nonprofit HR, will give you greater recognition of how human resource policies and procedures can align with your organizational culture to advance strategic priorities when resources and time are limited.

Both programs include breakfast and lunch with registration. These trainings are offered free of charge through support from the Scranton Area Community Foundation’s Center for Community Leadership and Nonprofit Excellence and the Moses Taylor Foundation.
